TRANSPLANTED ATHLETES AND MUSICIANS COMING TOGETHER
Organ Transplant Recipients To Compete In Sports, Singing in Cleveland
JUNE 11, 2016 – CLEVELAND, OH
Aaron J. Trumm is a lung transplant recipient and amateur track athlete, and just happens to be NQuit Music’s flagship act and producer. He’s joining other athletes and singers in Cleveland this Summer at the Donate Life Transplant Games Of America.
In a first for the games, the Cleveland Convention Center will host the “Lyrics For Life” competition, an inaugural singing competition for recipients of organ transplants and living donors. Trumm, a 21 year veteran of stage and studio and a double lung transplant recipient, will be in the field, performing on June 12 and, if a finalist, June 14.
From the games website: “The Donate Life Transplant Games is a multi-sport festival event produced by the Transplant Games of America for individuals who have undergone life-saving transplant surgeries. Competition events are open to living donors, organ transplant recipients, bone marrow, corneal and tissue transplant recipients. More than an athletic event, the Donate Life Transplant Games highlight the critical importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation, while celebrating the lives of organ donors and recipients.”
NQuit Music, Aaron J. Trumm’s independent record label, is celebrating the games and his upcoming 3 year transplant anniversary with the release of his 14th album, “Livin Is Bling”, a rock/hip-hop fusion. Trumm will perform songs from the new album at the Lyrics For Life competition. In addition, NQuit is giving away free downloads at aarontrumm.com.
